Like many other people, I'm more than a little irked when it comes to what
Netflix has done to its consumers in the past few months. I've searched
high and low for alternatives to their streaming services and have mostly
been disappointed at the lack of quality options. If a site has speed, it
lacks in selection, customer service, or both. Thankfully I think I've found
the best option for myself and my family in a little thing called Graboid.
As with any website or service, the first step is to make sure it's actually
safe to use. If it's not, I want absolutely no part in it. My quest for
entertainment led me down many a sketchy path, but Graboid has a multitude
of user reviews online and it has definitely been judged to be free of spyware,
malware, or any other malicious content that would send you to the computer
repair store in agony and despair. I particularly liked the searching capabilities,
especially when compared to the complicated structure of many other services.
I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, as well as a few delightful
surprises that I had long forgotten about.
Anyone who has a decent-running computer should be able to use the Graboid
service without any streaming issues. My personal quality was fantastic,
only lagging to catch up at the beginning of the videos I watch. The service
is updated quite frequently to make sure they catch any glitches or bugs
in the system, so I've yet to find any problems in my albeit limited experience
with the program. For any potential cord-cutters, people who are on the
quest to cut out the cable and phone cords into their homes and find online
alternatives, Graboid is definitely the start of something special.
It has had a few years to build its library and fanbase, both of which are
quite impressive for a company so young. If you don't trust torrent sites
(hint: you probably really definitely shouldn't!), take a look at Graboid
for your video streaming needs. There's no more need for Netflix, possibly
even no more need for cable in this increasingly streaming digital age.
I fully recommend Graboid as a product I will continue to use well into
the future and I definitely think anyone with an Internet connection should
give it a try instead of getting sucked in to other, more expensive streaming
services like Netflix. Graboid is a company that will not disappoint you,
lie about why they disappointed you, or anything else of that nature. So

I've been using Graboid for 2 months now and the thing I find the most wonderful
are the ratings. I used to download things from torrents (and occasionally
from filestube). I would then have to search Google for the specific video
to see if it was worth watching (for things like audio and video quality).
However with Graboid all the ratings all conveniently displayed alongside
the video you choose to watch. These ratings are accumulated from thousands
of users of Graboid. You can see straight away whether a video has good
audio and video quality (and I find that most do).
Another thing I especially like about Graboid is that it's easy to locate
the videos. My step father uses raw Usernet to download his films, but then
you have to find all the corresponding parts, un-RAR them and THEN watch
them after they've all finished downloading. Graboid does all the hard-work
for you in as much as all the videos are THERE in full. After you begin
watching the video, that's all that you have to do. There's no messing about
with un-RARing things, or finding the parts, or even having to fix the videos
using the PAR files. I love Graboid a lot!

Graboid is one of the better online streaming sites available. The software
is free and the videos are very affordable. The download for Graboid was
fast and easy, with no issues installing. Once Graboid is downloaded the
video library is amazing. Over 100,000 videos are available on Graboid which
can leave you watching videos all day long. Graboid has everything you could
imagine in those 100,000 videos. New and old movies, some that are still
even in the theater and new and old television shows. Some would consider
this a positive option to DVR. I loved that I could get all of my favorite
movies and television shows and I could get them sent right to me streamed
so that I didn't have to wait for the download to finish.
Having the choice of standard or high definition is a great feature, since
usually the standard streaming quicker and easier then the high def does.
Graboid has pretty good download speeds, I was able to connect at a faster
speed than expected.
While streaming is their best option for videos, Graboid also offers a download
service, for those click and come back later items. This is a wonderful
tool if just want to click download and come back to it later for viewing
or if you want to burn the video to a DVD, so that you could watch it on
your television.
Graboid comes equipped with a 7 day a week customer support department and
a community forum that is available to member 24/7. The community I found
very helpful in the fact that they would let me know what was going on with
the website. What videos were available at that time and what videos weren't.
The community was also a great tool to find out general questions about
the service and find out what new stuff could be on the horizon.
Graboid is a very realiable and practical alternative to straight downloading
and to DVR. With you being able to stream and or download the newest movies
and the latest episodes of your favorite television programs right from
the comfort of your own couch and the ability to watch these programs on
your computer allowing your television to be on any other program you desire
is something that parents desire when trying to please a house full of children
or when there are just too many shows to watch and not enough DVR space
to contain it all.

I like Graboid because it's serves the purpose for a video search engine.
One of the few of it's kind on the internet. I can easily access movies
and tv shows at fast download speeds, while getting full access. I get to
watch my videos whenever I want. plus beat some friends to it. Graboid is
compatible with my windows 7 on my laptop. It's also compatible with my
Power MAC 1. Plus they have the new cell phone apps out there for the phones
and the tablets.
I got to see one full length video without downloading it to your hard drive.
No commercials or interruptions. Plus the picture quality was good. I downloaded
the Graboid Family. Most of my shows were on there. My first thirty days
free. Then I get to choose if I want to stay or not. The plans are:
1. The Silver membership for $9.99 a month. This includes 10GB of transfer
and a 2GB Limit per File.
2. The Gold membership for $19.99 a month. You get 50GB of transfer, HD
quality content and DVD videos over 2GB.
3. The Diamond membership for $29.99 a month. 500GB of transfer a month
and HD quality content.
Graboid is user friendly and it has thousands of shows and movies. The staff
goes out of their way to answer questions and to serve you. I can now watch
my shows, movies and sporting events, on the train, going to work in the
morning. If they don't have Wifi access, I download them the night before.
The Graboid viewer was so fantastic, that I thought that I was right in
there with the actors! It brings the shows and events up close. You get
detailed and up close video, plus the sound is in good alignment. This also
depends upon how fast your processor speed is too. I felt like I was right
there, living in the moment, watching the video. The viewer has zoom in
and zoom out. I can rewind, fast forward, stop and play as many times as
I want.
The viewer has a "My Videos" file where you can save all your
favorite videos to go back to them. This is a nice feature to have. I can
change my collection, switch things up and have fun with this. Plus I can
store my shows and events in there to watch.
The only challenges that I ran into is that I needed OSX 10.5.5 or higher
to run it on my MAC. Then while downloading it to my laptop with windows
7 as the OS, it took a great deal of tweaking to get it through Norton Anti
Virus and Webroot protection to set up permissions.

I have to say searching for TV shows and movies online can be tricky. There
are so many factors that come into play. Some of which is the legal issues
of using illegal Peer 2 Peer file sharing website, or the rising prices
and lack of support of existing file sharing websites. In this overly technological
day and age, life is fast paced. Online streaming beats the hassle of having
to be in front of your TV at a certain time to watch a specific show. Time
and money is valuable why waste it on websites that don't provide the same
quality service and customer support your looking for.
Throughout my search I've come across a sited name Graboid and I must say
I'm in love. It has over 100,000 full resolution TV shows and movie titles
to choose from. As soon as I signed up, Graboid automatically recommended
to me the popular videos that other users are watching. I personally love
this feature because unlike Netflix and other online streaming websites,
movie recommendations are not solely based on what I have been watching.
I must say it one of the best website of its kind. If you think about how
many people still watch TV shows on a TV set? I know I don't I'm constantly
streaming and watching my TV shows and movies online. It's easier and more
time efficient. The download feature is what I like most because I can save
videos on my computer and watch it anywhere, with or without internet. The
download and streaming speeds are quite fast. I can download a typical 800MB
movie in 10 to 15 min, and that's using a WIFI signal, on my standard PC
running windows XP.
Pricing on Graboid is fair and better than its competitors. They have different
types of accounts with different pricing. The basic or free trial version
is what I started out trying, just to get a feel for the site. It let me
download up to 4GB, and gave me access to roughly 30,000 TV shows and movies.
I wish they allowed more than 4GB, but if you don't have a million shows
and movies to watch like I do, it's a great deal for testing out the site.
Graboid has yet to disappoint me. Their ease of access and customer support
provide for all my TV and movie needs. I'm able to catch up on all my shows
while discovering new ones to watch. If you're truly looking for a new and
